Dr. Ike Chioke is the Group Managing Director of Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited, a leading financial management holding company operating across seven verticals – investment management, securities trading, trustee services, research and consulting, investment banking, financial technology, and infrastructure financing. Dr. Chioke is also the CEO of Triple A Infrastructure Nigeria Limited, an asset management firm which has recently registered the N1 Trillion Renascor Infrastructure Fund with the Securities & Exchange Commission as part of its mandate under Infrastructure Corporation of Nigeria’s (InfraCorp) remit to drive private sector participation in financing infrastructure investments across Nigeria.

A native of the Obioma Kingdom in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State in Nigeria, he undertook his primary education at St. Patrick’s Primary School in Coal Camp and Ekulu Primary School in G.R.A. both in Enugu. He then proceeded to Federal Government College Jos in 1976 for his secondary school education where he graduated with 7As in his WAEC exams in 1982. He continued his education at the then University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University and graduated in 1987 with First Class (Honours) in Civil Engineering. In 1988, he won the Rhodes Scholarship for Nigeria and proceeded to the University of Oxford the following year as a Rhodes Scholar. He graduated from Oxford in 1991 with an M.Phil. in Management Studies.
